Howell to Sports

"Our school recently went through the rebranding process and updated our color scheme.  For the past three years, our gym wall mats remained the original colors and did not match our updated floor or banners.  Our 2020 senior class gift was to redo the pads, so I began reaching out to companies to get ideas of prices.  Ed at Howell To Sports came back with a very reasonable quote, and so we began to work with him on our project.  He worked with our branding committee and myself to create the images for the pads, and I sent him the measurements of the current pads so we could simply replace what we had.  The items were completed and sent, and our maintenance department began to prepare to hang them when we found an issue between the measurements given and what the company had sent.  Ed worked with us to ensure we would be able to still use the pads and get them up in time for our first volleyball game of the season.  He willingly paid for the adjustments to the pads that covered the center and end beams so that they ended up fitting perfectly.  He knew we were in a time crunch and did everything he could to make sure they were able to be hung up in time for our first game.  It was truly a pleasure to work with Ed, and we are more than happy with the final product."

 Good morning, Ed, Everything is fabulous! The scoreboard is up and running. The company that I do business with at my job did the installation of the scoreboard for us. He removed that old monstrosity and had to make some brackets for the poles so the scoreboard would hang properly. He also had to call in an electrician to redo the amount of electricity going to the scoreboard because the other one needed more "juice". So after it was installed and working, I asked him about the invoice, if he had it with him or if he was going to mail it, and he said, "What bill?" So not only was our scoreboard donated, but the installation was as well!

It felt so good on Saturday to see the games played under our lights with a working scoreboard and play-by-play being announced! I brought back some memories from when my son played down there and I was his manager. I attached some pictures of the finished product so you can see the end result. Thank you again for everything you did to help expedite this whole thing. It is appreciated so much! And believe me, if we need anything or if anyone asks where we got the scoreboard, we will definitely point them in your direction.
