This is an at-home version of a tachistoscope. A tachistoscope is a device that displays an image for a specific amount of time. It can be used to increase recognition speed, to show something too fast to be consciously recognized, or to test which elements of an image are memorable.

This tachistoscope Software Program is a short-term training modality that trains visual recognition, short-term memory, and visual processing. This type of brain training can be used as part of a NVT training program for performance enhancement or rehabilitation. Many sporting activities require rapid processing of visual images and the T-Scope is a great tool to train this process.

This is a totally redesigned version of the computerized tachistoscope designed as a take-home version for you. Although very inexpensive, Supertach has a great number of features. It allows for different sizes, colors, and fonts of text. The background color may also be changed to test for scotopic color sensitivities. One can vary the speed of presentation of numbers, upper and lower case letters and the appropriate level of Dolch sight words. Even with all of these features, Supertach remains an affordable Home training tool. This is not MAC compatible. This is a CD but we can transfer it to a USB drive.

Software will max-out it's capabilities once you reach minimum speed threshold. If this happens, this means you are ready to move on to the next level.
